Nelson Business Products, Inc. is sponsoring a Christmas stocking project for the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.  I am a member of an online quilting guild and we have been sewing and quilting stockings to send to the troops for Christmas.  Right now I have collected 217 stockings and lots more are on their way!  

N.B.P. is going to supply the stuffers for these stockings.  I’ve contacted several Sergeants in Iraq and they have requested snacks for the stockings.  I am also making a Christmas card to go in every stocking.   

Whatever your political opinion may be, this project is simply to support our fellow Americans and show appreciation for all they are doing for us while they’re so far from home.  These brave men and women’s morale is boosted so much by being remembered and they are very appreciative of anything they receive. 

I will be posting pictures of the progress of this project.  We are going to decorate our conference room and wear Santa hats, drink hot chocolate, eat cookies and listen to Christmas carols as we stuff these stockings.  That should make for an interesting photo shoot!  LOL!   

We are going to use a percentage of our sales at N.B.P. to fund the stocking stuffers and postage for this project, so all of you are already contributing to this with every order you place with us.  If any of you would like to contribute more to this project, it would be greatly appreciated.  We hope to exceed the goal of 500 stockings, and with your help I’m confidant it can be done.  Thanks so very much for your support!
